"Other DJs will bang on about how important their sound system and light rig is, and of course these are essential elements, however, people dance to MUSIC not 'gear'. My speciality is my love and understanding of music, and how it plays on the dance floor. I can get ANYBODY dancing, even your granny. I don't just slap down 'tunes' I build sets, I'm not thinking about the next song I'm gonna play, I'm thinking about the song after it, and the tune after that. I play all sorts of music, but my own personal tastes run to funk, soul and hip-hop. I dig rock and reggae too, but like any top class DJ I always keep my ego in check and look to the audience for guidance. I guess I just love to make people dance." Says Cormac.
