This weekend I had the privilege of playing Ronan Collins' 30th Birthday at the Claregalway Hotel. His brother Dave had hit me up with this playlist, and I quote: "Beatles, Stones, Chilli Peppers, U2, Doors, Zepplin, Gorillaz, Blur, Oasis, Bob Marley, Hendrix, Joy Divison, ACDC and .. that kinda thing, anything that rocks." Obviously I was more that happy to oblige and not have to play any crappy charty pop shite.
Nice one lads, great night ... and Ronan, enjoy your 30s man ..

During the Galway Arts Festival this year, I was working as a producer/cameraman for GAF TV ... here's something quick that I was heavily involved with, only a minute long, but took 40 hours of video tape speeded up by 9000% ... it also required several soakings for yours truly and my main man, Ciaran Fogarty.
Word.
Big Up to Danno Heaslip for allowing us access to his home in order to set up a camera there, from where the main camera was based.
It was my very great pleasure to have Ozz G in the house last night spinnin' some great Old Skool ... See below for a playlist. We also had a whale of a time commentating on the Ghana vs Uruguay penalty shoot out ... a Sporting first from Flirt FM. You can catch all the action on Flirt Rewind
